Bullring and Grand Central

Famous for its fantastic selection of shops and restaurants, Bullring and Grand Central is Birmingham’s largest shopping complex and is only a 5-minute walk from Crowne Plaza, Birmingham City Centre.

Home to over 200 designer and high street stores and a whole host of excellent cafes and restaurants, Bullring and Grand Central should be on your to-do list if you’re visiting Birmingham on leisure and are ready to ‘shop ‘til you drop’.

Fully immersive family fun with over 200 interactive displays of science and technology, Thinktank is an essential visit for brains that are always keen to explore and learn. Visitors can enjoy four floors of scientific amazement that invites all to get involved and discover the world around us. Alongside the hands on displays is a 4K planetarium system and marine worlds gallery. There's certainly plenty of fun to enjoy and we highly recommend visiting when travelling with the family.

Jewellery Quarter 

Responsible for 40% of all UK jewellery production, this Quarter is often referred to as an industrial hub. However, it is also home to a vibrant selection of bars and quirky, chic dining which offers a trendy alternative to the busy city centre atmosphere. Visitors can make a day of exploring the quarter with varying tastes and budgets, whether browsing the stores or attending a workshop. With over 800 businesses to choose from, whether you're shopping or browsing for inspiration, we're sure you'll find it in the Jewellery Quarter. Those looking to delve into the history of this lucrative trade can check out the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter, a perfectly preserved workshop in which you can get an idea of how the production was completed.

Perhaps Birmingham’s ‘sweetest’ tourist attraction, Cadbury World is just 20 minutes from Birmingham City Centre by car, with frequent train links to Bournville from Birmingham New Street.

Opening back in 1990, Cadbury World has been welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors to enjoy their self-guided exhibition tour and of course sample some chocolate goodness!

Located within a 10-minute walk from us, Sea Life Aquarium is the perfect tourist destination for families visiting Birmingham.

We are located just a 5-minute walk from Birmingham’s International Convention Centre. Birmingham ICC is home to most large-scale events taking place in the city.
